Since opening in Jan 2020, we have been composting all of our stems and plant materials weekly. Approximately 60 plus pounds a week! Bloom Wichita works with Nudge Compost so that these materials will continue providing value to the environment and stay out of our landfills.
Whenever possible, we try to source local and regionally grown fresh flowers, plants, and materials seasonally. Bloom works with some amazing local and Kansas based flower growers along with other American grown flower vendors to supply us with exceptional product. We strive to carry interesting and quality products made locally and regionally to support other small businesses and our community.
